Zipify OneClickUpsell Review

Published Updated 7 min read

Researched from official docs and public sources, checked .

Zipify OneClickUpsell (OCU) charges by the upsell revenue it generates, not by your orders: from $9.95 a month up to a cap of $999, in 14 steps. In practice the app costs about 5 percent of the upsell revenue it earns at low volume and about 2.3 to 2.7 percent at high volume. That makes the bill easy to predict: above the $9.95 minimum, it rises only when the upsells earn more. The one sharp edge is at the step boundaries, covered below.

Best for: Shopify stores that want post-purchase and cart upsells and prefer a bill that tracks results. Not ideal for: stores whose main need is a smart cart with product recommendations across the whole journey; Rebuy is aimed there.

The full price ladder

Zipify’s pricing page (checked 29 Sept 2026) lists one plan with every feature included and 14 price steps by monthly upsell revenue. The last two columns are our arithmetic: the app’s price divided by the revenue at the top and at the bottom of each step.

Source: Zipify pricing, checked 29 Sept 2026. The Shopify App Store listing shows the same range ($9.95 for up to $200, $25 to $99 to $2,500, then $149 to $999) and a 30-day free trial. Zipify’s page also prints its own ROI multiples per tier, which are the reciprocal of these shares. They describe price against upsell revenue, not profit.

What the ladder means for the bill

  1. Cost is a slice of upsell revenue that depends on where you sit inside a step. At $2,000 a month in upsells you pay $99, 4.95 percent (99 / 2,000); the table shows the range, from about 2.3 percent at the top of a high step to 12.5 percent just past the $200 boundary.
  2. Crossing a boundary costs a step. At $2,500 you pay $99; at $2,501 you are in tier 05 and pay $149, $50 more for $1 more revenue. At the bottom of each step the share is the worst-case figure in the last column.
  3. Compare with margin, not revenue. If the upsell products carry a 40 percent gross margin, $2,000 of upsells earns $800 before the app; $800 - $99 = $701. The app only loses money on a step if the share in the last column exceeds your margin on the offered products, for example a 12.5 percent worst case against a 10 percent margin. Use the break-even ROAS guide to get your real margin.
  4. The cap means a store earning $100,000 a month in upsells still pays $999, about 1 percent. Zipify says the price never depends on order volume.

That structure is the opposite of order-based apps, whose bill rises with orders whether or not upsells convert. The cost of ReConvert, Zipify OCU and AfterSell at 100, 500 and 2,000 orders is set out side by side there, and the best upsell apps page lists what each app’s bill depends on.

How a post-purchase funnel is billed

A post-purchase funnel in OCU is a sequence of offers shown after the customer pays, which they can accept without re-entering payment details, per the listing. Every accepted offer counts toward the upsell revenue that sets your step. Zipify’s help article on plan and billing (checked 29 Sept 2026) adds four rules that change the bill:

  • Upsell revenue is the total of accepted offers including shipping and taxes.
  • Shopify refunds are not deducted, so a refunded upsell still counts toward your step.
  • The app checks revenue every 6 hours and charges the difference as you cross into a higher step during the cycle.
  • The ladder above applies to installations from 21 Sept 2026; existing users keep their current rates, so an older install may see different prices.

So a funnel that converts well moves you up the ladder within the month, and refunds on upsold items do not move you back down. If your offer products are often returned, compare the step price with your revenue net of refunds, not the dashboard figure.

What is included

Zipify’s page lists on every step: a product page offer widget, pre-purchase upsells, post-purchase upsells, cart drawer and cart upsells, thank-you page upsells, in-checkout upsells (Shopify Plus only), AI-powered offers and split testing. The listing describes post-purchase offers where a customer can accept without re-entering payment details. There are no separate add-on fees per the page. The listing rating was 4.6 from 565 reviews on 29 Sept 2026.

We did not measure acceptance rates or revenue lift; none is claimed here. Any acceptance rate you see quoted elsewhere is a store-specific result, so run your own offer for a month and see what the app’s own report shows.

Alternatives to Zipify OCU

Monthly cost at three levels of upsell revenue (order counts are our assumption; prices from the listings, 28 to 29 Sept 2026; our arithmetic):

ScenarioZipify OCUReConvertAfterSell Post-Purchase
300 orders, $600 upsell revenue$49$9.99 (Growth)$34.99
1,500 orders, $3,000 upsell revenue$149$199 (Scale)$34.99
5,000 orders, $9,000 upsell revenue$269$199 (Scale)$34.99

ReConvert bills on the higher of orders and upsell revenue (listing); AfterSell is a flat fee by plan (listing). Rebuy is a broader personalisation layer priced by package, and GemPages includes post-purchase upsells on its Optimize plan. Pros and cons

Pros

  • Bill tracks upsell revenue and is capped at $999
  • Every feature on every step, no add-on fees per the pricing page
  • 30-day free trial on the listing

Cons

  • The price steps up at each boundary, so a store hovering near $2,500 or $500 in upsell revenue can see a jump
  • Not a smart-cart replacement
  • Shopify Plus is needed for in-checkout upsells

Common questions

Can Zipify OCU run a post-purchase funnel?

Yes, within its listed placements: Zipify’s pricing page lists post-purchase upsells and thank-you page upsells on every step, and the listing describes post-purchase offers a customer can accept without re-entering payment details. A funnel here means a sequence of offers after checkout; how many steps you can chain is not stated on the pages we read, so check it in the 30-day trial. The AOV system guide covers where each offer type fits.

Do refunds lower my Zipify OCU bill?

No. Zipify’s help article says Shopify refunds are not factored into the upsell revenue it counts, and that revenue includes shipping and taxes.

What is a cheaper alternative to Zipify OCU?

Above $200 of monthly upsell revenue, ReConvert’s Growth plan at $9.99, while both your monthly orders and your upsell revenue stay at or under 2,000; above $500 of upsell revenue, AfterSell’s flat $34.99 post-purchase plan. See Zipify OCU alternatives.

Does Zipify OCU charge by order volume?

No. Its pricing page says the price scales only on the upsell revenue OCU generates, never on order volume or total revenue.

What does OCU cost if it earns me $3,000 a month?

$3,000 falls in tier 05 ($2,500 to $5,000), so $149 a month, which is 4.97 percent of $3,000 (149 / 3,000).

Does Zipify OCU work only on Shopify Plus?

The pricing page lists in-checkout upsells as Plus-only; the other placements are listed without a plan restriction. Confirm your plan on the listing before installing.

Method: researched from Zipify’s pricing page, its help article on billing and its Shopify App Store listing, plus the ReConvert and AfterSell listings, checked 28 to 29 Sept 2026. Cost shares are our arithmetic from the published price steps.

Update log

  1. Added how a post-purchase funnel is billed (revenue counted with shipping and taxes, refunds not deducted, checked every 6 hours, per Zipify's help article) and that the new ladder applies to installs from 21 Sept 2026. Replaced the short Rebuy and ReConvert note with an alternatives section costed at 600, 3,000 and 9,000 USD of upsell revenue. Prices not re-read on 2 Nov 2026 (vendor pages unreachable from our research environment).
  2. Removed the claim that you never pay more than the upsells bring in (the $9.95 minimum applies at any revenue) and the claim that cost is a fixed slice of revenue. Corrected the at-a-glance summary, which said the app is priced by order volume and quoted an unsourced acceptance rate; it now matches the pricing page (upsell revenue, $9.95 to $999). Added a post-purchase funnel question answered from the pricing page and listing. Prices not re-read on 1 Nov 2026 (vendor pages unreachable).
  3. Rewritten with the full 14-tier price ladder from Zipify's pricing page, cost-as-share-of-upsell-revenue arithmetic, and the old unsourced $8 and acceptance-rate claims removed.
