Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information StoreCartel collects when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. StoreCartel is a content and review site: we do not require an account, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.

Information we collect

• Usage analytics. Aggregated, cookieless analytics (pages viewed, approximate country, device type, referring site) to understand which content is useful and fix what is not.
• Affiliate link clicks. Outbound affiliate links go through our own /go/ redirect (see our affiliate disclosure). For each click we store the time, the page the click came from, the country and a device class (mobile, tablet, desktop). We do not store your IP address and we set no cookie. The destination site's own tracking then records that the click came from StoreCartel, so a resulting purchase can be attributed correctly.
• Information you provide directly. If you email us, we retain that correspondence to respond to you and, where relevant, improve the site.

Cookies

StoreCartel does not set its own tracking cookies. Cookies set by an affiliate partner's own tracking (after you click an outbound link) are controlled by that partner's privacy policy, not this one. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

How information is used

Aggregated analytics inform which reviews and guides we prioritize writing or updating. We do not use visitor data for targeted advertising on this site, and we do not sell personal data to third parties.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or request deletion of personal data we hold about you (for example, from an email exchange). To make such a request, contact us and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Third-party links

StoreCartel links to third-party tools, platforms and services throughout its reviews and guides. Once you leave this site, that third party's own privacy policy applies. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change too. Material changes will be reflected here directly; we do not send notifications for policy updates.
