Corrections log

These entries come from independent audits in which a reviewer who did not write a page re-read each price and claim on the vendor's own page. To report an error yourself, use contact.

• 29 September 2026: Shopify review. We had shown Shopify's yearly-billing prices ($29, $79, $299) as monthly and named the middle plan wrongly. The monthly prices are $39, $105 and $399 ($29, $79, $299 when billed yearly), the middle plan is called Grow, and the third-party fee range is corrected.
• 29 September 2026: Ecomhunt review. The page listed a free tier and wrong plan prices. Ecomhunt's plans are Basic $23, Pro $39 and Suite $49 (annual 279, 468, 588), with no free tier and a 30-day guarantee.
• 29 September 2026: Minea review. We corrected plans to Starter $49, Premium $99 and Business $199, removed a free-credits claim, flagged that Minea's own pages conflict about TikTok support, and updated the ad database figure to the vendor's claim of 80 million or more.
• 29 September 2026: Sell The Trend review. We removed an invented 14-day trial and corrected the plans to Lite $29.97, Essential $49.97 and Pro $99.97, with a free trial of unstated length. The comparison with Ecomhunt and Minea now uses the corrected prices.
• 29 September 2026: Sellshop review. The vendor figures were right, but the Shopify comparison used euros. We moved it to US dollars and recomputed: the crossover is about 950 USD, not 400.
• 29 September 2026: Best product research tools. We corrected Minea's TikTok wording: its pricing page says coming soon while its homepage mentions TikTok ads.
• 29 September 2026: Printify review and Printful vs Printify. Printify's pricing page now offers up to 33 percent off new products, not 20. We recomputed the break-even and confirmed Printful's $12.25 and its print add-ons.
• 29 September 2026: How much does it cost to start dropshipping. We corrected Shopify Basic from $29 to $39 on monthly billing here and on the best Shopify apps for dropshipping guide and the Shopify vs Wix vs BigCommerce comparison.
• 29 September 2026: Shopify third-party payment gateway fees. We added a US dollar reference and a note that US card rates could not be read from here, after confirming the percentages and euro prices against Shopify's pages.
• 29 September 2026: Shopify Payments vs PayPal vs Stripe. We had PayPal's card rate as 2.99% + $0.49; PayPal's US page shows 2.89% + $0.29. The cost table is recomputed ($273.50, $1,094, $2,735 instead of $298.50, $1,194, $2,985), PayPal cards are now nearly level with Stripe, and we added Shopify's 1.25 percent premium rule.
• 29 September 2026: ReConvert vs Zipify vs Rebuy. ReConvert bills on the higher of orders and upsell revenue, so at 2,000 orders and a 10 percent take rate it needs the $199 plan, not $9.99. We fixed it and noted Zipify's 21 September 2026 pricing change for new installs.
• 29 September 2026: Shopify checkout.liquid deadlines. We had merged two dates. checkout.liquid on the Information, Shipping and Payment pages ended on 13 August 2024 for Plus stores; 28 August 2025 is for the Thank you and Order status pages. The table row is split and the lead rewritten.
• 29 September 2026: Free plan limits and Judge.me vs Loox vs Yotpo. The Loox crossover was stated as about 1,700 orders; the correct figure is 1,800. We changed "cheapest" to "cheapest or tied" because Loox is free up to 500 orders, and added Omnisend Pro's vendor price beside its App Store listing.
• 29 September 2026: Klaviyo vs Omnisend vs Shopify Email. We removed a stale claim that Omnisend Pro bundles SMS; its help centre says SMS is separate on Pro and unavailable on Standard since 4 May 2026.
• 29 September 2026: Meaningful A/B test traffic. The formula used a power constant of 0.84 while the table used 0.8416. We aligned both to 0.8416, redid the worked example and corrected four table rows that were off by a few visitors.
• 29 September 2026: Card declined at Shopify checkout. We corrected which decline codes Radar's adaptive acceptance applies to, and removed three claims no source supported: that test mode was left on, that an account hold was the cause, and that Shopify Payments judged the order high risk.
• 29 September 2026: Best page builders and upsell apps. We corrected a row that understated PageFly's cost at larger page counts, removed unverified limits for Zipify, and removed an unsourced $1M GMV rule from the upsell roundup. Both pages now give the answer in the first 100 words.
• 29 September 2026: Cart abandonment and US de minimis duties. We cited the companion postal rule instead of saying it could not be read, and added the answer-first paragraph to the cart abandonment guide after confirming its Baymard figures.
