Judge.me vs Loox vs Yotpo: What Each Costs as Orders Grow

Published Updated 4 min read

Researched from official docs and public sources, checked .

Judge.me is the cheapest or tied at every order volume: its listing shows a free plan with unlimited reviews and one paid plan at $15 a month. Loox is free to 500 orders a month, then about $99.99 at 501 and $299.99 flat from about 1,800 (ours). Yotpo’s free plan stops at 50 orders a month, and its vendor page lists $89 a month for up to 500. These are the prices; whether Loox’s photo-first widgets or Yotpo’s wider platform justify the difference is a separate question, covered below.

Monthly cost at four order volumes

Prices in USD from the apps’ Shopify App Store listings (checked 28 Sept 2026) and, for Yotpo, its own pricing page (29 Sept 2026). Figures marked “ours” are arithmetic from the stated rules, not vendor quotes.

Orders a monthJudge.meLooxYotpo
100$0 (Forever Free) or $15 (Awesome)$0 (Beginner, up to 500)$89 (Starter on the vendor page; the listing says from $15, priced by order volume)
500$0 or $15$0 (Beginner, up to 500)$89 (Starter, up to 500 orders on the vendor page)
1,000$0 or $15$199.99 (ours: Convert $49.99 plus three extra 300-order blocks at $50)Not stated: the vendor page lists Starter and Pro up to 500 orders and custom quotes above
2,000$0 or $15$299.99 (Unlimited; Convert would be $349.99, ours)Custom quote

How the Loox figures work: the listing says Convert costs $49.99 with 300 orders included and $50 for each extra 300. That formula only comes into play above the free 500 orders. We assume each started block is charged in full; the listing does not say. If you are near 500 orders, confirm the exact bill in the app before you cross the line.

What you get for the money

The listings describe the apps differently, and the differences are not all price.

  • Judge.me (listing): the free plan states unlimited product and store reviews, including photo and video. The listing rating was 5.0 on the checked date. Awesome is $15 a month with a 15-day trial. Judge.me’s own pricing page returned an access error when read, so its plan feature list beyond the listing was not checked.
  • Loox (listing): listing rating 4.9. The plans are set by order count, not by features shown on the listing, which is why the bill jumps at 500 orders. Loox’s own pricing page returned 404 when read.
  • Yotpo (listing): listing rating 4.8; Free up to 50 monthly orders, Starter listed at $15 ($12 yearly) and Pro $119 ($89 yearly) with order-volume ladders not shown, which conflicts with the vendor page’s $89 and $169 for up to 500 orders. Yotpo also sells loyalty and other modules; only the reviews pricing was read here.

The free-to-paid jump is the main planning risk with any of them; the same effect for other app types is in where each free tier ends. For the whole monthly stack see the Shopify app cost calculator.

What none of these prices tell you

Reviews only help if shoppers see them at the right moment. Common questions

Is Judge.me really free?

The App Store listing shows a Forever Free plan with unlimited reviews including photo and video, and a paid Awesome plan at $15 a month. Check what the paid plan adds on Judge.me’s site before assuming you need it.

Why does Loox get expensive at 501 orders?

Because its free plan ends at 500 orders and the first paid plan includes 300 orders with charges per extra block. Under our assumption (each started 300-order block charged in full) the first bill above the free limit is $99.99; the listing does not say whether the 500 free orders count towards Convert’s included 300.

Can I switch later?

Reviews are data you may want to export first. Ask each vendor about export before you commit; this page did not verify export formats.

Method: researched from Shopify App Store listings and Yotpo’s pricing page, checked 28 to 29 Sept 2026. Judge.me and Loox vendor pricing pages could not be read. Order-volume costs are our arithmetic from the stated plan rules.
